午後の公園でセリフを練習している俳優・芹沢。彼はある少女を助けたことをきっかけに、性的ないたずらをしたと母親たちから責められ、恐ろしい事態に巻き込まれていく。一見、幸せで穏やかな中流家庭の明るいイメージの裏に隠されたダークサイドを描いた「公園ホラー」映画。

“The Devil in the Afternoon” is a short film about darkness everyone hides under a happy façade. The film is a dark comedy about an obscure actor who is mistaken for a child molester. He is accused by a hysteric mother, who has a dark past of her own. The film portrays the frenzy of maternal love and the dark underside of the bourgeois suburbia in Japan.
